Margaret Kustermann recently played Mag in the Beauty Queen of Leenane with the Irish and American Repertory Theatre in Columbus, Ohio, and earlier with the Northern Stage Company in Vermont, after understudying the role at Steppenwolf Theater. She appeared at Steppenwolf in the role of the mother in Supple in Combat, and played Mrs. Vitali in Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding. She was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Citation for the role of Lola in Come Back Little Sheba and was part of the Jeff Citation-winning production of Cheri at Live Bait Theater. Margaret works in commercials, film and television, and has a master’s degree in theater from Northwestern University.
